Crime Fiction – Ten Cliches to Avoid

We all may be players on the world stage, nevertheless the question remains why we show the psychological responses to the happenings depicted from the fiction, whether in print or visual presentation, just as in real life? Just like dreams our imaginations become presented to us on the mental screen as though we had been watching movies or television. And as in dreams the actual world gets supplanted by the imagined virtual world although we are fully alert. That planet has perfect resemblance to the actual one and everything happening in it appears real due to something shifting in our cognition school. But the mechanism that activates our psychological responses stays unchanged and consequently we respond to the fiction in the same way as in real life.

Here we have some similarity with the digital reality of the modern computer technology, which is an artificial environment created by software. It is introduced to the audience in this way in which the person temporarily suspends own belief pattern and takes it as a true environment. In ways it is not different from the phenomenon of being transported to the imagined universe of fiction, except the computer performing the task is in the mind and we don’t have any clue regarding what is the applications and who’s your programmer.

That brings us to the cause of psychological reaction itself. In regard to fiction the most common emotions are likes and dislikes that could become their stronger forms of hate and love. In real life we love or hate someone because of a few attachment through kinship, friendship, or even through indirect knowledge of the person. One cannot love or hate a person a person does not know in any way. Attachment can also be to other living beings, material things, and to imaginary things. We love or despise a story or even a notion. For an ordinary person it is impossible to live unattached to items in the world. If one is able to eliminate attachment, one unites the rank of educated souls that are indeed rare. We carry our capacity and desire for attachment into the fanciful world of fiction. We see the characters we come to understand as the story progresses, form our preferences, and respond in precisely the same way as in real life except we cannot socialize with them physically. But we do socialize together in our heads and hearts from where the feelings come. There is so much for you to learn about reference, and we certainly can help you in this area. As always, though, much of what you determine you need is totally reliant on what you want to achieve. Even though it is important to everybody concerned, there are important variables you should keep in mind. The best strategy is to try to envision the effects each point could have on you. The latter half of our discussion will center on a few highly pertinent issues as they concern your possible circumstances.

The fact is that at a specific sense is fiction. Just like a story it has a beginning, an end, and also lot of things in between. We do not know who writes this fiction will ever understand. So we have an inborn affinity with fiction and cannot completely detach ourselves from it. And maybe that’s why, while studying or seeing fiction we get lost in the wonderland of imagination, but for that short period we operate exactly in the same way as we want in the real world of our understanding. In that sense fiction is simply invented reality.

Theme is why fiction matters, since it’s the quality that provides the story a universal appeal. Some say theme is what the story is all about, but that is too ephemeral a definition, which might get confused with all the idea or the plot.

Theme enriches and inspires the reader when saying something profound about the human condition. Theme is the abstract concept behind the story forming the narrative’s heart and soul which the exposition, dialogue, and action reflect every opportunity they get.

Theme isn’t the characters or the plot or the original idea that started the narrative. By way of example, a writer could start with the concept of exploring family relationships between girls, but as his story progresses, his theme may shape up as understanding and forgiveness between different generations of guys. There are some topics on which it is very hard to write any kind of story.

Theme is indicated, occasionally without the writer’s knowing of it at the beginning; however, more experienced authors typically work on their theme harder than any other part of the story as soon as they grab on to what it is they’re writing about.
In non-fiction, the author is advised to hone into his subject and start referring to it right at the first paragraph. In fiction, on the other hand, the theme usually flowers through the writing as the story progresses.
